In general, we believe that SingleHop is a better dedicated hosting company than Rackforce. Keep in mind some other Rackforce SingleHop facts to consider. While both web hosts generally receive good reviews by our users, Rackforce and SingleHop are not based in the same country. With Rackforce you are buying Canadian dedicated servers (if you are in Canada this may be a positive). However, if you are based in the US or abroad, you may find SingleHop better than Rackfroce since you get hosted in a US data center. While we prefer SingleHop vs. Rackforce due to lower prices, one thing to be careful of when reviewing the dedicated server products of SingleHop vs. Rackforce is the RAM that comes with their dedicated servers is different. RAM is very important, particularly when you use a control panel, and SingleHop generally includes more RAM in their servers. In addition, a big plus for choosing SingleHop instead of Rackforce Hosting is that SingleHop offers a unique control panel, that is web-based called LEAP and lets you manage multiple servers with significant features. This is a proprietary offering at SingleHop.com and it's a big asset (check out their LEAP demo at their webpage). If you are focused on green hosting (i.e. carbon neutral dedicated servers), we do give credit to Rackforce, who is in the process of building a large green data center in Kelowna, British Columbia with the help of IBM (note that Rackforce and IBM are business partners). Of course, Singlehop only uses name brand hardware which is a balancing positive. Thus, on balance, while both dedicated server companies (Rackforce and SingleHop) are high quality and fast growing companies, we think the average dedicated hosting buyer will find SingleHop to compare more favorably versus Rackforce.com or Rackforce.ca.
